What REFLECTOR actually helps you do

Catch hidden biases

See what may be shaping your choice without your awareness.

Spot manipulation

Detect pressure, framing, false authority, dark patterns and emotional triggers.

Improve decisions

Get questions worth asking before you agree, buy, sign, send or decide.

REFLECTOR doesn't tell you what to do

Most AI tools try to sound certain. REFLECTOR does the opposite. It helps you question what influenced your decision — including its own output.

REFLECTOR is also subject to analysis. And it should be.

Built on behavioral science

REFLECTOR is grounded in behavioral economics, decision research and cognitive bias analysis. Based on the work of Kahneman, Tversky, and Thaler.

  • decision-making researcher
  • creator of REFLECTOR

REFLECTOR was created by Stefan Podedworny – a decision-making researcher, behavioral economist, and creator of projects combining science with practice.

He is a doctoral student in behavioral economics at the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH), where he conducts research on the influence of stimuli – particularly scents – on decision-making processes in the context of prospect theory.

He is also the founder of the Foundation for the Promotion of Olfactory and AI Research, whose goal is to develop research on the role of perception, sensory stimuli, and new technologies in human cognitive and decision-making processes.

His research interests focus on the question:

why do people make decisions that, in hindsight, turn out to be wrong, even though at the time of choice they seem rational.

In his work, he combines:

behavioral economics
analysis of heuristics and cognitive biases
research on perception and sensory stimuli
reflection on the role of artificial intelligence in decision-making processes

Why REFLECTOR was created

Through years of working on decision-making processes, Stefan Podedworny noticed that the biggest problem is not a lack of information.

The problem is that we often don't ask ourselves the right questions before making a decision.

In a world where access to information – and also to artificial intelligence – is becoming easier, the risk of cognitive errors does not disappear. Sometimes it may even increase.

That is why REFLECTOR was created – a tool that does not give ready answers, but helps the user stop for a moment and look at the decision from different perspectives.

Project Philosophy

REFLECTOR is based on a simple assumption:

a good decision starts with a good question.

That is why the tool does not give advice and does not make decisions for the user. Its task is to ask questions that help notice possible cognitive errors and see the situation from a broader perspective.

REFLECTOR was born from the belief that in a world full of answers, good questions become the most valuable.
